To all moms all over the world

Today I received an invitation letter from CGRI in Karachi for the Indonesian Mother's day celebration on upcoming Wednesday... (with it I came to know that Indonesian mother's day has reached its 82nd anniversary), anyway... I wish happy mother's day to all mothers (even to mother of my mother's mother who was born way before Indonesian mother's day was formed)

But on the other side, I got the news from my sister in law who lives next to our apartment, one of her neighbor' geyser got burnt and caused a fire, 2 kids dead (a baby instantly died and the bigger one died on way to hospital), and the mother became unconscious by the smoke... I was literally cried to hear when to know kids were holding each other... the time when it happened the mother was on the phone where both the kids played together... It so sad to hear that. me, My self is a mother of two, sometimes feels frustrated to face two kids, but most the time I spent great time with them, I know how she felt losing her babies, where it happened when we wasn't aware dangerous are everywhere.

Simple rendang yang nendang...

Alhamdulillah dengan segala puji bagi Allah tuhan semesta alam, akhirnya terwujud keinginan untuk bikin rendang sendiri, dengan bumbu-2 seadanya di dapur *penuhsenyumkebanggaan*....

Heheh, jelas aja gimana ga seneng bisa bikin rendang padang sendiri, yang selama hidup cuma bisa menikmati di warung padang...

Ini dibuktikan dengan mengirim sample simple rendang ke temen, dan dikasih nilai 8... angka yang menakjubkan bukan heheh... untuk pertama kali bikin...

berikut bumbu seadanya dirumah

-Daging sapi (yang saya punya, potongannya utk aloo gosh)
-3 buah bawang merah besar diiris-2 dan digoreng sampai kecoklatan
-3 sdm bawang putih + jahe pasta (dibanyakin jahenya jadi enak lho)
-lengkoas 2-3 inches digeprek
-2 sdm ketumbar bubuk
-1 sdm kurang, kunyit bubuk
-Cabe merah bubuk sesuai selera
-1 sdm jinten bubuk
-2 buah biji pala
-6-7 buah kapulaga
-6-7 buah bunga pekak (yang bikin rasa enak pada rendang)
-2 Bungkus Santan kara bubuk (3 bungkus mungkin nambah nendang rasanya)
(bumbu asli pakai daun salam, cuma saya tidak punya)
-Garam sesuai selera


Caranya:
Bawang goreng diblender bersama bumbu yang ada dengan minyak... stelah bumbu halus lalu lengkoas +bumbu halus digoreng sampai minyak terpisah, masuk daging lalu masukan santan... sampai tahap ini aduk-aduk setiap beberapa saat dan diamkan dengan api kecil sampai daging empuk...

enak dimakan dengan nasi panas.. hmm yummy!!!!
