Wanita setelah menikah

Selalu disetiap kesempatan, saat  teman saya sesama Indonesian mengatakan "come to our place" suami saya selalu menjadi "Well, I am just a driver". Suami mengerti benar posisi sebagai suami bahwa tidak layak istrinya keluar sendiri tanpa muhrim... sedang di lain waktu saat ada kaka ipar atau waktu beberes rumah... saya bilang " You have a foreign maid, I am so expensive " (bagi saya amat mahal karena tak bisa di gaji dengan UANG)

Suatu waktu kedua anak saya menawari suami saya potato chips, anak saya bilang "mama gak sharing makanan sama baba". Suami saya menjelaskan, siapa bilang mama ga sharing... "mama and baba always share things, therefor you both are here" lalu saya bilang ke anak saya...

IQ TEST FOR FLOOD VICTIMS

One day a Singapore based NGO contact my hubby to conduct IQ test for flood victim in Pakistan, that day I didn't really pay attention to it. My concern was more to where the test will be held, which mean "I'll be left alone with kids and in law for few days". And it's Islamabad

I was wonder how it will be, as I know a bit the character of the illiterate Pakistanis (feel no offense my "Pakistani family").

The spirit of hard working is missed from these people, I never know from where to analyse, to solve this think tank even no body knows including Pakistani, as I know want to enjoy the life with all the privileges. Even they are from lower class, (I should not have said this cause I just observe what comes on my eyes). Comparing to our native (read: Indonesian) that we have to earn our own priviledges by ourself, no body will entertain you nor treat yo as a king if you a lazy bump beggar...

I do not really know who are these literate people here, are they those who can read and write, if they don't have wills to learn then how they have wills to know their IQ???? (later on i knew that literate person means one who can sign... so sad)

Is that as simple as "bait" among 1000 peoples only few will be selected, if only they know this, i wonder how many people will take the test, as the nature is "why should think hard if the aids has come, well as long as I can eat and live who need to be selected one".

I think to gather 1000 people from the camp to get tested you need to bring basic foodstuff for free and force them sit to clear the paper... otherwise you will only get less than 50-100 people come voluntary...

or lets not called IQ test for illiterate but for flood victim but expect less....

Soon after my husband came back from the camp, he told me there were around 500 people appeared for the test...

basically this test was to select some of those flood victims to get better life by giving them some training which can bring out their skills...

for sure as I expect less... none of them were qualified nor had valued IQ (=IQ jongkok).

But this effort must be appreciated as not much people did something to this change the poverty in that part of the world...

Compliments and praises!!

I had this idea to write up about compliment, because I felt the side effect to my days ...

Last night I had a chat with an old colleague from where I was working for a Magazine as graphic designer. surprisingly we were only met like once or twice a week in a meeting, but he remember me vividly (or it was recalled by facebook page)... actually all colleagues were like a family member to each other...

I was kind a surprised when I got a compliment as "wanita yang hebat" because I never feel that way. Being a lady of the house with monotonous live, that compliment was flying me high to the seventh sky.

So I think I have to write it up to share with you people how a compliment can boast your energy to start a new day.

A compliment indeed gives strength to personality, bring self esteem and self appreciations. In a life-partner-hood where sometimes days passed just as it is, even when spouses were both felt comforts to each other, or have no issues in communication, a compliment is needed, praising each other and showing gratitude to what spouse have done to us... when you see people was like a damned robot, you can feel that this person need to be praise and to put him/her back again to a normal human being... (it happened to a house wife like me... heheh)

And look at your kids, praise that you give to them when they have done a good thing bring out their confidence, For kids, telling what will they get if they did a good job they will accept it, instead of cursed them and threatened them, praising them and promising a reward make them do your works were done voluntary... (this thing I just started as I promise my self to keep my head cool).

Although compliments and praises needed but it is not so healthy to show off to get compliments and praises... I am 100% sure it won't boast your inner side to glow but it just giving you a headache and make up something new to get it more and more... so lets just give compliments and praises without demanding it, cause it feels more excited when we never expect it.

Unmarried but not available....

Just today after dropping our little man to school... we went to proceed our daughter's B form to get Pakistani passport... my husband went to the counter and done all the procedures... in the last counter the staff gave a shocking reply... "sorry sir we can't proceed further more...
you are UNMARRIED"...............Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa Dezhiiiiiiiiiigggggggggggh.... "denger begitu rasanya mo marah..."
I was waiting outside... and playing with Maryam... in the meantime there was a baltistani woman talked to me i keep on saying "sorry" whenever she asked me...her urdu was not clear... in the end she asked me... "Aap punjabi hai??"
I dunno what was exactly happened inside... but i know it was a tough day for them... cos i know my husband when he is in this such situation... but for sure it was a tough day also for him...

one thing I noted here... how come it happened after five years of married... cos there was no issues when we make Pakistani passport our first kid... they said govt has change the law... and they can't do anything... it came from Islamabad...

"SO Should I say that its our fault that we live in Pakistan?"

Lets see the good side of it... that now as they suggested to us... "better to have Indonesian passport and get the POC done"

But One thing will remains the same... My husband is unmarried but Unavailable... (till the time he get his NIC is renewed)
